The Slackline Technology RamLock is the most advanced weblock available to date. Its unique design characteristics are the result of a collaboration between Benjamin Plotkin-Swing and Slackline Technology founder Jason Fautz. The RamLock is the first ever, low profile weblock that has deviated from the standard, 15 year-old banana style design. Our goal with this weblock was to create an incredibly strong, yet highly versatile 1" webbing anchor that any slacker can use regardless of their slackin' style.
It's unique one piece design, large diameter diverter and unique loading characteristics give it strength where it matters most. The large connection point through the center of the diverter can accommodate either GREEN or PURPLE spansets as well as up to 6 strands of Bluewater BW II+ 9.5 mm static rope. Threading with static rope allows for the creation of a sliding X anchor through the center of the device without the need of an extra connection point, meaning no heavy shackle!!! This results in less weight in your pack. The tethered front loading pin is an incredibly strong, stainless steel Kwik-Loc pin. It has a push button release for easy loading and removal of your slackline webbing.
During our testing period we discovered all sorts of creative ways to rig with the RamLock. One such case is its compatability with the SlackPro lineGrip and soft-pointing. The RamLock itself can be used as an anchor point for your removable pulley system; please see the catalog picture for a better visual.
